Q: Do I have access to my storage unit after office hours?
A: YES! The office is staffed Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. As long as your account is current, you will have 24/7/365 access to your storage unit.
Q: How do I gain access to the facility after hours?
A: At all times the facility is secured with an electronic gate in which you are provided a unique access code. This access code is not only specific to your storage unit however also to the individual. We can provide a unique code to anyone who may have access to this storage unit. This is especially helpful for those who are storing business files where multiple people will need access. A record is created in your account every time someone accesses or attempts to access the gate.
Q: Indoor or Drive-Up, what is the difference?
A: Indoor units are just that. They will be found in an interior hallway of one of our buildings. We offer push carts for our customers to use for easy handling of your belongings when placing them in to storage. Our Drive-Up units are better thought of as your garage at home. You will be able to drive up to the storage unit door and unload directly in to the storage unit. The drive-up unit would also be used when storing a vehicle.
Q: Can I rent the storage unit over the phone or on the website?
A: You may reserve or rent your storage unit online by clicking the online rental button on the top of this page. Once we receive your information, we will reach out to you. Preferably, we would like customers to come to the office to complete the move-in process so we can show you where your storage unit is and provide a quick tour of the facility. However, for those who can not for whatever reason, we have the ability for you to complete the contract electronically.
Q: I have a route based business, can my deliveries be placed in my unit?
A: Absolutely! You can create a security code for the delivery driver and provide them access to the unit. We currently have multiple route based customers who have set up access to delivery drivers.
Q: Do you have climate controlled units?
A: At the current time we do not offer climate controlled units. We find with the temperatures of Central Pennsylvania do not require the use of climate-controlled units. Basically, think of a storage unit as an extension of your attic at home.
Q: What don’t you recommend storing in a storage unit?
A: Glass Christmas Tree ornaments. No matter how well you pack them… they will shatter. Also, anything that you feel is “irreplaceable” like deeds, bonds, family paperwork, vehicle titles, ect. These items may be better stored in a Safety Deposit Box.
Q:Are My Items Insured While Being Storage At Your Facility?
A: The same way your landlord doesn’t insure your personal belongings, Catch-All Self Storage does not insure your items either. However, we do offer an excellent Insurance program with no deductible offered by Storsmart Bader, starting at just $9 a month! We do require our renters to have insurance on the contents stored at our facility. If it worth storing your belongings, it is worth protecting them. When renting your storage unit you can either purchase the insurance program we offer or bring a copy of your policy that protects your items while they are stored at our facility.
